Speaking Out Against Child Marriage: “We Can End Child Marriage, and We Can End it in a Generation”

Around the world today, approximately 400 million women were married as children. This practice is particularly prevalent incertain parts of Africa. In Chad and Niger, for example, which have the highest child marriage rates in the world, 70% of women were married off before their 18th birthday.
